Are you ready to take your dancing to the next level, attend competitions, and make lifelong memories? At RDT, we offer two unique dance companies, Shine and Excel!
The Shine Company
The SHINE company is our recreational competitive team for dancers looking to advance their training and compete without a huge time commitment. Dancers will take ballet, jazz, and lyrical technique with the opportunity to add tap, hip hop, and acro. Dancers will also have the opportunity to audition for a solo. Company dancers will be expected to work hard in classes each week and represent RDT at North Carolina competitions.
⭐️ 1-2 Nights/Week
⭐️ 1 Summer Training Week
⭐️ 3 Competition Weekends
⭐️ 1 Spring Recital Weekend
The Excel Company
The EXCEL company will be our highest level of company, offering dancers more advanced training opportunities. These dancers will train several nights a week, attend conventions and competitions, and take classes from guest artists. Excel dancers are required to take ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, and acro. Dancers will also have the opportunity to compete solos, duo/trios, and/or small groups (details to come)!
